Opening of The Conservatory in Elmvale

A new enterprise promoting locally created works of art and handicrafts opened in Elmvale. Owner Rob Howard calls the store part contemporary art gallery, part turn-of-the-century general store and 100 percent North Simcoe. “The Conservatory is devoted exclusively to the work of local artists and artisans. We have some amazing talent in North Simcoe and the paintings in our gallery and the hand crafted items in our emporium are all produced within a 25 mile circle around Elmvale”, Howard said. To learn more on The Conservatory, visit their website at www.theconservatory.ca . During the grand opening of The Conservatory Dr. Matthew Clayton of Clayton Chiropractics announced his re-opening at his new location in the same building beside The Conservatory.
