Shelter Now's Garden Project

After receiving a generous grant from the Huronia Community Foundation and in partnership with Home Depot, Charles Morden Construction, Harvey’s and the Home and Cottage Centre (Penetanguishene), Shelter Now recently completed a garden and gazebo project. The donors gifts – the gift of affordable fresh fruits and vegetables and a beautiful gazebo - will enable someone, who may not otherwise have been able to afford such commodities, enjoy a healthy meal and also offer them a beautiful area to escape and relax. In addition, this project simultaneously offered Shelter Now’s clients the chance to gain valuable experience in caring for and harvesting their wonderful garden.
